Nowadays, this particular vineyard is still planted with Sauvignon and is still a “key part” of the Domaine.
In 1586, Françoise Stutt married Françoise de Bar who brought him as a dowry the seigneury of Tracy. By their wedding, the descendants of the Comte d’Assay and his young brother, François Stutt, current owners of the Château de Tracy, get together two branches of a one and only family separated during four centuries.
|Colour||Pale gold with silver highlights, bright.|
|Bouquet||The noise is intense with very fresh notes of citrus: grapefruit, blood orange and ripe lemon. The aromatic expression intensifies and gains complexity as the wine breathes, revealing aromas of white fleshed fruits, hints of peach underpinned by chiselled peaks of rhubarb.|
|Palate||The attack is soft, followed by a full and rich texture, developing ripe white fruit, pleasantly refreshed by a touch of minerality. This vintage surprises by its precision, its accuracy. The mid palate fills the mouth with delicate notes of pistachio, sweet almond underlined by a nice minerality. The salty finish is long showing lychee, rose, and anise.|
