The Keuper gypsum fragments in the subsoil bring a delicious freshness to the wine, and are of considerable benefit in years with low rainfall.
A disciplined approach, coupled with respect for nature and the ongoing desire to produce wines reflecting the authentic character of one of Alsace’s finest terroirs, led us in 2006 to start the gradual switch to biological agriculture.
|Grapes||100% Tokai Pinot Gris|
|Colour||Yellow with a green reflection, shiny and crystalline.|
|Bouquet||Intense nose that reveals the aromas of the grape’s varietal (mushroom, moss, leaves, wet …)|
|Palate||The mouth brings out the characters of the nose with great harmony. It is full-bodied and sweet, while maintaining a precise balance between alcohol, sugar and acidity. A well-melted acidity that offers remarkable persistence.|
