The Keuper gypsum fragments in the subsoil bring a delicious freshness to the wine, and are of considerable benefit in years with low rainfall.
A disciplined approach, coupled with respect for nature and the ongoing desire to produce wines reflecting the authentic character of one of Alsace’s finest terroirs, led us in 2006 to start the gradual switch to biological agriculture.
|Colour||Yellow with a green reflection, shiny and crystalline.|
|Bouquet||Nose marked by the complexity of the varietal. Wedding of aromas of ripe fruit and more original notes (rosemary, heather, garigue)|
|Palate||You find in the mouth all the aromatic subtlety of the nose, on a long and rectilinear silhouette. The plot is deep and bounces on freshness.
The finish is long, marked by acidity and salinity, signature of the terroir.
